Abstract
The idea of creative tourism is a new and important topic in the field of urban studies, especially the development of urban tourism, and emphasizes on improving the quality of life through new ideas of citizens. Creating creative tourism promotes urban life, which in turn expands the level of a city's relationship with other cities on a national and transnational scale. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the role of creative tourism in Izeh urban development. The present study is descriptive-analytical in nature and in terms of development-applied purpose, it is based on library and survey studies. Research indicators included indicators of creative tourism (social capital, quality of life, tourism talent, physical infrastructure and tourism experience) and indicators of creative urban development (social, economic, cultural, environmental and physical). To present the model of creative tourism development and its effect on the development process of Izeh city, a questionnaire with a sample size of 325 people and a SPSS software were used. Also, the process of network analysis process for indicators related to creative urban development was analyzed in Geoda software. The results show that at the confidence level of 95%, it can be claimed that the five indicators of creative tourism in Izeh city are in a good condition and only in the physical infrastructure sector, there is a shortage. From the point of view of experts and citizens, this city has a lot of tourism potential that can be effective in the development of Izeh city, if used creatively.
