Abstract

Through the description and application of game theory in the field of managing large urban areas, we can gain a better understanding of the complexities of the problem and modeling of activists in this field is also facilitated. Also in this way, we can analyze the behaviors, interactions and tendencies of the activists and the consequences of their decisions in order to create the necessary grounds for providing guidelines and effective policies. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of activists in the field of Tehran urban area management based on game theory. Descriptive-analytical research was conducted in 1401. The data required for this research were collected by the "documentary-survey" method (interview and observation). The statistical population of this research includes managers and experts who were selected based on purposeful and theoretical sampling and their number is 21 people. Also using the content analysis method, the data of this research was analyzed. The graph model was also used as a suitable tool for modeling, analyzing complex issues and analyzing the state of the game among different stakeholders of metropolitan area privacy management. GMCR+ software was used for this modeling. The results of this modeling show that among the 51 situations, there are 2 stable situations. Status 47 is considered as the most stable one. The analysis show that the optimal situation for the activists in the field of range management in the metropolitan area of Tehran who have the authority to realize the maximum interests of the actors, requires structural reforms and the active presence of the actors. The mutual effect of the presence of activists in metropolitan areas in the framework of efficient organizations based on organizational rules will make the actions of activists meaningful. These rules can be realized through representatives of civil society and their cooperation with government and private organizations as well as through the culture of discourse and mutual communication between organizations.
