Abstract

The neighborhood is considered a biological center and a turning point of thinking about the city. Due to the experience of various events and crises over time, this biological center has undergone structural changes and this factor has endangered the biological health of its residents. The emergence of the Corona Pandemic is one of these crises.

Therefore, the objectives of the current research are to identify the components of the Pandemic affecting the healthy life of the residents of the neighborhood and, secondly, to investigate the neighborhoods of Tabriz city in order to evaluate the healthy life of their residents. The basic question is whether there is a relationship between the death rate caused by the Covid-19 disease and the structure of the neighborhood.

This research is based on theory-based method and the studies related to "neighborhood" are based on physical-spatial, functional and socio-economic components. Three selected neighborhoods of Tabriz city with different characteristics are evaluated based on the parameters affecting the Pandemic.

Measurements of the bio-spatial component using GIS software and the bio-psychological and medical components using a questionnaire and in-depth interview through exploratory factor analysis, checking the normality of the data, finally by the software Amos analysis and model of structural equations of ternary components are obtained. The results show that all metrics with the same priority have direct and indirect effects on the spread of the Pandemic. The studies also showed that the biological health of the residents of Maqsoodiya neighborhood is the highest and Valiasr settlement is the lowest in the conditions of the Corona Pandemic.
