Abstract

The present article is titled Sociological explanation of social health among primary schools in District 5 of Tehran. Social health is a reflection of the economic and social conditions of society and is rooted in many social factors. Social health in schools and among students is of great importance. Social health is a reflection of the economic and social conditions of the society and is rooted in many social factors. For this purpose, social health was addressed with a sociological approach. The current research is a survey method and a questionnaire was used, and the statistical population is the students of primary schools (5th and 6th grade) and first secondary school (7th, 8th and 9th grade) of Tehran's 5th district. A sample size of 400 people was selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method. The findings showed that the average social health is relatively low and is equal to 2.89 and is in the lower average range. There is a positive and direct relationship between religiosity, socioeconomic base, sense of social security, social capital, and quality of life with social health.
