The two dimensions that are studied in this research, are environmental-ecological and physical-spatial.this is a descriptive and analytical research, and the questionnaire method is used to data gathering. 330 participants have completed the questionnaires . statisticaltests, and Entheropic models (Shannon and Topsis) are used to explain and analyze the data and to rating the neighborhood. Based on environmental-ecological dimension , the natural conditions of neighborhood in Rasht has reached the grade of 2.699 which stands lower (below) average. Enviromental health, has reached the grade of 2.0993 and stands average quality. The total score to the Environmental-ecological dimension equals 2.846. Five major indicators are selected on physical-spatial dimension. The result shows, indicators of physical vitality has reached the average score of 2.99, and has a better condition in comparison with the four other indicators. The indicator of the quality of streets and passages reaches the average score of 2.704 , and stands on the second place. Three indicators of landscape, safety and physical management are placed in order , from third to fifth position. The total score to the physical-spatial dimension equals 2.665. Rating the neighborhood shows that , there is a distinction and inequality in many urban areas and neighborhood in both dimensions that are studied In fact, region one and region five are higher developed in comparison with the three other regions.
