Abstract
The regeneration approach considers people's participation as one of the main pillars of its programming. These conditions will increase the movement towards local development and attract people to these places. The city of Shiraz, with its rich cultural background, is one of the cities that has started the national project of recreating the country's historical fabric. The historic and old context of the center of this city has valuable neighborhoods that are made up of unique elements such as the market, historical castle, mosque, bath, and old houses. The purpose of this article is to investigate the influential indicators of urban regeneration in the historical context of Shiraz with the structural equation modeling technique. The approach governing the research is descriptive-analytical and the method of collecting research data is based on two library methods (documents) and field survey (questionnaire tool). The statistical population of the present study includes 48,195 residents of the central historical context of Shiraz. The sample size was calculated based on Cochran's formula of 322 people and the questionnaire was conducted using probability sampling and simple random method. SPSS and Amos software were used for data analysis. The findings of the research showed that the research indicators have different effects on the reconstruction of the historical context of Shiraz city. In this regard, the greatest impact on the reconstruction of the historical context of Shiraz city was obtained for the management index.
